Sri Lanka is the Eighth most charitable country in the world
It appears that Sri Lanka is the Eighth most charitable country in the world. The ninth and tenth are Thailand and Laos, both Buddhist countries. So, despite their relative poverty compared to Western countries, these three Buddhist countries are comparably charitable.
